Supporting The Island Community

Christmas Island is a remote island community with a diverse culture. PRL are strongly committed to providing financial stability and support to the individuals, groups and organisations that make our Island home.

Since 1900, phosphate mining has been the foundation of the local economy and to this day remains the main employment option on the Island. Whilst other entrepreneurial ideas have been pursued mining has remained the reliable and consistent pillar of the Island economy.
